Excuses, excuses!


On Saturday, we will have been married for fifty years.   Our family is arriving this week and things are a bit hectic here. I  hope you'll forgive me if my post this week is just a cartoon that made me laugh.

    If the shelf space taken up by books on how to write is 7 1/2 feet, and the stack of manuscript printouts is 15 inches high, what is the books-to-manuscript ratio? Give your answer in feet, inches, and centimeters.
